Overview
ProductGuard provides hybrid AI and human review for product labels, listing copy, marketing claims, and ingredient declarations. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use ProductGuard and how we use it.
What we collect
When you submit a product for screening — whether as text, an image, or both — we collect that content, the product category you select, and the resulting scan report. If you create an account, we collect your email address. If you purchase a report, we collect basic payment confirmation details. We do not store full payment card numbers.
How we use it
Label content and scan results are used solely to generate your compliance review report and to maintain your scan history so you can retrieve past reports. We do not use your label content to train AI models beyond what is necessary to generate your individual report.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your label content or scan results with advertisers. We do not use your product information for any purpose beyond delivering the ProductGuard service to you.
AI and third-party processing
ProductGuard uses automated and AI-assisted analysis under predefined rulesets. To provide the service, product labels, listing text, images, claims, ingredients, scan results, and related account data may be processed by trusted third-party service providers that support AI analysis, authentication, database hosting, storage, security, analytics, and payment processing. These providers process information on our behalf for the purpose of operating, securing, and supporting ProductGuard. We do not sell uploaded label content.
Data retention
Scan history is retained as long as your account remains active so you can reference past reports. You may request deletion of your account and associated scan data at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ProductGuard evolves. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
